What drives the price
- Driving time is the biggest factor. The short beginner formats with well under an hour of driving each sit towards the lower end, the full-day safaris with several hours at the handlebars towards the top. - Evening safaris with a campfire, ice fishing with a hot soup or a visit to a reindeer farm add to the price of the ride.

Per person, two per snowmobile
The price in the table is per person. The standard format is two people on one snowmobile with a driver swap, so two tickets cover one snowmobile and each of you drives about half of the stated time. If you want to drive the whole time yourself, look at a longer tour first: a longer shared format often gives you more driving than a short one ridden solo.
Extras to budget for
- Some operators let you book a snowmobile for yourself for a supplement. The amount is on the product page; our licence and deductible guide lists which tours offer it.
- The driver is liable for damage up to a deductible. An optional waiver lowers it for a fee on several tours. Decide before the tour starts.
- Some tours include pickup, others start at the operator's office. Arctic GM's day safari, for example, has no hotel pickup.
